So Vodafone Australia have just confirmed to all their customers with HTC Trophy WP7 handsets that they have completed Carrier Testing and approved the update. Now all that they are waiting on is the Microsoft official Mango launch/Release – expected in about 17 hours at the Day 2 Build 2011 Keynote!
Well done Vodafone. Now for Telstra and Optus (Updated – DONE read on!)
WOW – so further to speculation from this very site yesterday RIGHT HERE – it looks like MS and Carriers have got their $hite together and exorcised once and for all the ghosts of NoDo past!

Telstra have replied to my tabled question, asking their position on the timings of the Mango update for existing customers. The answer – it will be in Spring! Whilst that is a significant landing pad – I remain optimistic that we will see a better outcome, if not best case, than this!

Just saw a post over at CNET Australia in reply to their Vodafone article per above. Will1505 states:
“telstra has be demonstrating Mango to its tech team starting yesterday. expect the update to come within the month
