The #SmokedbyWindowsPhone campaign just keeps on picking up pace. Featuring @BenThePCGuy from Microsoft – it’s a paradigm changing advertising campaign featuring the Windows Phone 7 mobile OS in real-life use taking on…and sending packing the best the other mobile platforms have to offer. Whether it’s snapping the moment and uploading to social media, posting a status update to your network, sharing to the cloud or just finding a nearby restaurant and getting directions, Windows Phone smokes them all. So how can you make the most of this great campaign? Are you working in retail? Would you like a display loop for your Windows Phone in-store promotional use? Well WPDownUnder has delivered for you.

Taking these elements, WPDownUnder has put together a basic screensaver to complement the campaign. It’s perfect to put onto in-store PC’s or display screens to help sell Windows Phone in retail. The screensaver was created with a licensed copy of Ultra Screensaver Maker – a legitimate DIY tool for screensaver creation used by many corporations. All pictures and video’s displayed are (c) Microsoft. Click on the picture below to grab the 20Mb ZIP file from WPDownUnder’s Skydrive account. It contains a .exe screensaver install file.

If people are interested in a version with no audio, I can easily strip that out and make you one. The screensaver should scale based on your screen resolution – however it’s optimised for 1920 x 1080. In the same Skydrive section, there is also a fun dubstep Windows 8 screensaver, detailed here.
